I'm the Mommy, he's the Daddy

I love how the boys seem to have James and my roles defined in their own way. James is playing with the boys, when all of a sudden they break from the game and run all around the home to find me: "Mommy, I'm thirsty, I need a drink of water!" Then I hear from the other room "Hey boys - I can get you a drink." But nope - apparently Daddy plays and Mommy takes care of them.

Classic.

Why do they think the mommy does all the diapers too? ;)

It's definitely a role thing, not a gender thing. Aaron is the stay at home parent, and primary caregiver now, and Shea tends to call for him in the morning, ask him for things, etc., despite my having been his primary caregiver for the first 18 months, and then an equal caregiver for a few months.

He still comes to me when he's upset, though. Some things never change :).
